The Donkey Sanctuary opened its doors to the spookier side of life as they invited families to attend their pumpkin carving session this week.
For £3 per person, carvers could create their best pumpkin masterpiece to proudly display during the Halloween season.
After the pumpkin lids had been removed, the children were more than happy to dive in and help remove the seeds as they enjoyed their half term away from school.
The carved faces ranged from the scary to the silly as kids got into the spooky spirit.

The event was part of the sanctuary’s half term tricks and treats schedule which also involved a trail through the site and a chance to learn more about the bats that call the nature centre home.
The fun will continue until next Wednesday (October 31) and the pumpkin carving finishes this Sunday.
