Police are appealing for help to find an elderly Sidmouth man after he was reported missing in the early hours of the morning.
Officers were concerned for the welfare of a James Meredith,, after he was last seen at 4.30am today (Monday, April 30).
A police spokeswoman said earlier: “He is known as Barrie / James Meredith and is described as white, 70 years of age, 5 feet 10 inches in height, medium build, with short silver grey hair.
“Clothing description unknown but believed to be wearing blue jeans, dark blue v-neck jumper, and possibly a dark green quilted jacket. We have concerns for his welfare.”
An update from police shortly before 10.30am reported Mr Merdith had been found.
The spokeswoman said: “As a direct result of a call in response to our message Mr Meredith has been located.”
