Medical professionals are being sought by a hospital trust to help minimise disruption to services after a deluge of snow hit Devon.
Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust is appealing for registered nurses to work tomorrow (Monday) following heavy snowfall across South West today.
A spokesman said: “To help us continue to run our services safely tomorrow we are urging all registered nurses who are available to work tomorrow to please call our staffing hub as soon as possible today on 01392 406172.
“In light of the bad weather in and around Exeter today we are busy implementing contingency plans to ensure we minimise disruption to our normal services over the coming days.
“We are very grateful for the support of staff and the public.”
