Tickets are on sale for a supper and auction in aid of the Admiral Nurse campaign.
The Reverend Robin Laird has organised the event at All Saints Church Hall on March 16 at 7pm.
He said: “Many gifts have already been donated by local businesses and supporters and include meals in a number of hotels and restaurants, a visit for a family to our local Olympian Mary King’s equestrian establishment in Salcombe Regis, a picture being painted by a local artist, a family portrait session by a local photographer, champagne, a special millennium bottle of malt whiskey, a new freezer and many other items to capture your imagination and bid.”
Guests are asked to bring cash and cheques on the evening. Anyone who is unable to attend on the evening but would like to donate a cash gift or item for the auction can contact Reverend Laird on 01395 513948.
Tickets cost £10 per person and can be bought from Paragon Books, the memory café on Wednesday afternoon sat Twyford House.
