Anyone who has spare bottles of wine, bubble bath and other items lying around the house have been encouraged to make a charity Christmas hamper.
Community groups and businesses are being asked to take part in a campaign and help raise £13,000 for Sidmouth Hospiscare.
Lianne Harding, the charity’s East Devon community fundraiser, said: “We are asking local businesses and community groups in East Devon if they could create a Christmas hamper and raffle it off to their friends, family, customers and work colleagues.
“This year we have 81 businesses and groups taking part but we hope to get that up to 100.
“It is really easy and doesn’t cost anything. We ask for them to fill it with spare bits and pieces lying around the house like bottles of wine, bubble bath.”
