Emergency crews were called out to an incident at Salcombe Mouth yesterday afternoon (Sunday).
With moderate sea conditions, Sidmouth Lifeboat was paged at around 4pm and met on scene after a rapid response by police and coastguard teams from Beer and Sidmouth.
A lifeboat spokesman said: “Great multi-agency teamwork led to the lifeboat and police returning to Sidmouth Lifeboat station.
“Thanks to all crew, police and coastguard.”
More details will be published as they come in.
