A six-year-old bookworm has completed a literary challenge to read 100 books.
Rowan Nunn was presented with a certificate from Ottery Library for the Book Track scheme, which encourages youngsters aged six and above to discuss books with staff.
Jane Cordy, library supervisor, said: “It’s quite an achievement to finish Book Track at such a young age. Rowan Nunn, age six, has been a very enthusiastic reader, who has loved discussing all the books he read with the librarians.
“He is a delightful young man and a very confident reader.”
Rowan’s reading list included books by Roald Dahl, Enid Blyton and Dav Pilkey. He said his favourite reads were Beast Quest written by Adam Blade.
