Incident in Sidford: ‘No reported injuries inside the property’ - police
Police say a woman has been freed from a car that colllided with a house in Sidmouth this afternoon (Monday).
Emergency services were called to the scene in High Street, Sidford, at around 4.30pm.
Officers say a Nissan Saloon is now clear of the property and there a no reported injuries inside the house.
Fire crews and paramedics were also called out to the incident.
A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesman told the Herald this afternoon: “Police were called at around 4.30pm today (July 3) to reports that a Nissan Saloon car had collided into a house on the High Street area of Sidmouth.
“Multiple fire engines at the scene as is ambulance and police. Reports of one woman trapped in the car who has since been freed. No reported injuries at this time.
“Car now clear of the house, no reported injuries inside the property.”
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service says the incident has taken place in Hight Street, Sidford.
