Branscombe Primary School pupils went back in time as they concluded a project on the Romans.
They joined children from Farway and Broadhembury for a day of activities. The pupils were visited by experts from the Royal Albert Memorial Museum and carried out an archaeological dig, handled artefacts and made Roman coins.
The children also built model aqueducts and practised writing Latin on clay tablets.
