A family is appealing for information after a black motorbike was stolen from a property in Sidmouth.

Ana Collingridge posted an appeal on Facebook after her son’s black Lexmoto XTR125 motocycle was taken between 10.30pm last night (Thursday) and 5am this morning (Friday) in Sampson Close. The 28-year-old contacted Sidmouth police.

The vehicle, registration WJ16 JBW, is used by her son to commute to Ladram Bay, where he works as a lifeguard.

Mrs Collingridge asked for residents who saw anything suspicious to contact the police on 101 quoting crime reference 065460/16.
