Scores of brave bathers head to seafront for traditonal Boxing day swim.
Festively-clad swimmers took to the waters off Sidmouth today as part of the town’s ever-popular Boxing Day swim even though it was officially cancelled.
Bathers took the tradition as a chance to shake off the excesses of Christmas - and braved the chilly seas in a host of colourful costumes.
