Witnesses are being sought after a burglary at a Sidmouth shop in the early hours of Sunday morning (January 3).
The alarm was tripped at Banwell Antiques at 5.30am and a number of items of gold were taken.
Owner Simon Vickers said the value was ‘minimal’ for the risk the burglars took and the noise they made smashing through the side door.
He has upgraded his security and is open for business. Police are searching for two men. One was wearing a light-coloured puffer jacket. The other was in a hooded top with a stripe along the arm.
Anyone who saw anything suspicious around the premises is asked to call 101 and quote crime reference CR/000795/15.
