Pupils and staff from The King’s School celebrated the story of the Nativity when they held their annual ‘carols by candlelight’ service at the parish church this week.
The performance, on Monday evening, featured instrumental solos, readings and traditional Christmas carols from the group of more than 60 pupils and teachers.
Head of music Sue Stock said: “The choir, vocal ensemble, and instrumentalists, ranging from harp to piano, all performed superbly, as well as a combination of traditional and modern readings telling the story of the Nativity.”
