Police are appealing for witnesses after a pair of assaults happened over FolkWeek.
A man suffered serious injuries when he was attacked outside Dukes and thrown into the gift shop on the other side of Old Fore Street in the early hours of Sunday morning. Two males have been arrested in connection with the incident. Crime reference KS/13/431.
In a separate incident, a male was repeatedly punched in the head and body, which caused him visible injuries. A man has been arrested following the attack on Tuesday night. KS/13/438.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the police on 101 and quote the relevant reference number.
