TWO people are in hospital this morning after a two vehicle collision on the A375 Putts Corner near Sidbury.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the collision at 9.13am this morning (Thursday) and crews found one person trapped inside one of the vehicles.
A person from the second vehicle was still inside but not trapped.
Ambulance crews were already on the scene treating both casualties.
The female driver of a Citroen was airlifted to The Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The male driver of the second vehicle, a silver Vauxhall, was also transported by road ambulance to the hospital.
A fire service spokesperson said: “Fire crews removed the roof of the vehicle with hydraulic rescue equipment to extricate the casualty. The second casualty was released by Ambulance crews. The first casualty was transferred to hospital by Air Ambulance and the second by road Ambulance.
“Crews made the vehicles safe and left the incident in the hands of Police and Ambulance.”
Police confirmed both casualties received non-life threatening injuries.
