The staff at the Co-op in Ottery went yellow for the day as they launched a campaign to try and raise £1,000 for carers.
Each year the firm backs a charity, with each branch putting on events to add to the total, and this year is Carers Trust.
The Ottery branch has set itself a target of £1,000, and manager Louise Furneaux-Harris said they will be having cake sales, fancy-dress events and raffles to help reach it.
The fundraising started last weekend, when members of staff, including Michelle Broadhurst, the Co-op’s charity organiser, joined fellow employees across the country in dressing in yellow for the day, raising £90 in the process.
