RESIDENTS this week have their last chance to have a say on a bid to overturn a decision to reject plans for an out-of-town veterinary practice at Sidmouth Garden Centre.
A petition calling for proposals for a single-story premises in the business’ car park to become a reality has attracted more than 1,000 signatures.
The Herald reported in August how East Devon District Council (EDDC) turned down a planning application for a second time.
Garden centre owner Ian Barlow lodged an appeal with the Planning Inspectorate - which can overturn the decision and grant planing permission.
A hearing will take place in the town on January 11, but representations must be made to the authority by tomorrow (Saturday, October 22), according to Mr Barlow.
