Retailer of Year for second time for Sidmouth store
For the second time in three years, Sidmouth Garden Centre is Garden Centre of the Year, winning the prestigious National Garden Centre Retailer of the Year Awards.
It is the fourth successive year the centre has reached the finals, an achievement in itself as nearly all the UK’s 2,200 garden centres are eligible to enter the running.
James Trevett, manager, said he constantly challenges his staff to “generate an environment for the customer that is welcoming and enjoyable.”
The award, he says, is testament to putting the customer first.
As well as a range of trees, shrubs and plants, outdoor furniture and tools, the centre boasts a popular restaurant and a lifestyle gift shop, Temptation.
