Cash will help furnish Stowford hub
ORGANISERS of a bingo night in Sidmouth tomorrow hope cash raised will help deck out the soon-to-be built Stowford Community Centre. The event from 7pm to 10pm at the St Francis Hall, Woolbrook, on August 31 will help by fittings and fixtures for the pending facility, work for which is due to start next week. Community fundraisiers want to raise �23,000 by April 2011 as the centre is due to be open in spring next year. “We want as many people to come along as possible to help us buy equipment,” said fundraiser Jan Jones.
