Betty Easey holds special coffee morning for Pakistan flood victims
WHEN disaster strikes, so does Sidmouth’s coffee queen Betty Easey.
In the wake of the terrible Pakistan floods, she has organised a flood appeal fund-raising coffee morning at Sidmouth Methodist Church Hall from 10am to 12noon.
“There will be all the usual stalls. It is a special coffee morning, for such a sad affair. There seem to be too many of these disasters,” said Betty, 87.
“When I rang my friends to tell them about the coffee morning they told me they had been waiting for me to call.”
