Sid Valley pupils transform Sidmouth’s Connaught Gardens with their floral designs
PUPILS from five schools in and around Sidmouth have transformed borders at Connaught Gardens with their own designs – from giant whales to butterflies – as part of Sidmouth In Bloom’s horticultural efforts for this year’s South West in Bloom contest.
Sidbury Primary, Sidmouth Infants, All Saints Infants, St John’s School and St Nicholas Junior School have taken part in the planting, aided by Bloom president Joy Seward, and Mark Pollard, East Devon District Council’s parks development officer.
Some are pictured here hard at work to produce their displays.
