FOR the sixth year running, Margaret Adams, artist in residence at Sidmouth Museum, ran a Big Draw Day there.
This year her theme was Natural Beauty, and completed the museum's season of events under this title before it closed for the winter on Saturday.
Margaret drew out the picture, an imaginary scene "incorporating as many items as possible of natural beauty" and visitors to the museum on Thursday were able to paint sections of the picture to complete it.
"The butterflies were very popular and went first," said Margaret. "Some little girls enjoyed colouring in bluebells, primroses and violets and a boy of eight decided he would like to do the big tree, which he did beautifully on his own."
Dr Bob Symes, museum curator, was determined not to be left out, painting rocks with gusto.
