A SIDMOUTH guest house should be allowed to provide disabled access and accommodation and improved parking facilities, says Sidmouth Town Council's planning committee.
Owners of Southcombe, Vicarage Road, want to make the improvements to comply with the Disability Discrimination Act and, said Councillor Simon Pollentine: "They are hoping to achieve this without any extra parking spaces, but realign the existing ones."
Councillors heard a neighbour was concerned on the impact of the extension and a boundary wall on his property.
Ownership of an area of land is in dispute.
However they voted to continue supporting the application as the council had done previously.
