POLICE were called to Sidmouth Victoria Hospital five times this week following reports that a man was refusing to leave the premises.
Each time the officers escorted the man out of the building.
A police spokesperson said they are working alongside Exmouth Police who have received similar complaints.
He added: "Staff and patients have been affected by the incidents. We would like to assure people that anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated by the hospital or the police.
