BECAUSE her residents couldn't get down to Sidmouth town centre to enjoy this year's FolkWeek, Julie Shine from Bindon Care Home decided to bring part of the festival to them.
She invited Sidmouth Steppers to the home in Winslade Road and they took time out of their busy schedule to dance for the residents on the Sunday morning.
Liz Clode for the Steppers said: "Fortunately the rain showers held off during the visit and the dancers and their musicians performed several dances on the patio in the home's garden before enjoying coffee and chocolate cake, kindly provided by the staff.
"It is always a great pleasure for the side to have the opportunity to take their traditional English dancing to people who may not otherwise see it.
