A PENSIONER was left with facial injuries after she fell in Mill Street on Tuesday.
An ambulance raced to the scene at around 10.30am as passers by and staff from Poppy's caf� comforted the stricken 85-year-old who lay on the pavement.
An ambulance spokesman said the woman suffered facial injuries and was taken to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital as a precaution and her injuries were not life-threatening.
