THE BODY of missing Exeter man Mathew Hinton was formally identified today after being discovered on a Sidmouth beach near Peak Hill cliffs on Sunday.
An inquest is set to open tomorrow (Wednesday).
Mr Hinton, 36, had been missing from his home in the city's Stoke Valley Road area since Tuesday, July 7.
Police had asked for help in finding him and his brother Philip had approached local newspapers, including the Herald, to appeal for help in tracing him.
