THE Norman Lockyer Observatory will host a 'Sunny Day' on Saturday to mark a solar landmark.
The event, to mark the 140th anniversary of Sir Norman Lockyer's discovery of helium in the sun, will take place from 9am to 6pm.
Highlights of the event will feature helium balloon races and hands on demonstrations and talks about the sun.
