Sidmouth Model Railway Group will be holding a mini-exhibition on Sunday, March 5, at Sidford Social Hall in Byes Lane.
There will be more than 10 different railway layouts on show, along with a stall selling second-hand items for enthusiasts.
Group chairman Chris Ward said: “The group was formed just five years ago and has grown now to 32 members. It has become a very lively Men’s & Women’s ‘Shed’ type activity centre, where all seem to enjoy the benefits of taking part in model railway construction, from making baseboards, electrics and kits to actually laying and ballasting track, as well as running trains.
“We are a friendly bunch and new members are always welcome to come along to one of our meetings.
“We've worked very hard on preparing for the mini-exhibition and hope it will be an enjoyable experience for potential new members, anyone with an interest in model railways, and families.”
The exhibition runs from 10am until 4pm and admission is £3, with accompanied children free. Tea, coffee and cakes will be available.
