The Sid Vale Carnival Club is holding its first fundraising coffee morning/breakfast of the year this Saturday (January 20).
It’s taking place from 9am until 11.30am at Sidford Social Hall.
There will also be cakes and books for sale, and a prize draw.
The event is the first in the Carnival Club’s 2024 fundraising calendar. It will be followed by a jumble sale at Sidford Social Hall on Saturday, February 10 at 2pm, and another coffee/breakfast morning on Saturday 17.
These events will continue monthly throughout the year, along with other fundraisers. On Saturday, March 16, Alun Jeffreys will perform a concert at Sidford Social Hall at 7pm, and the first Summer Bingo session will take place on Friday, June 28. The fundraising activities throughout the year are vital to the staging of Sidmouth Carnival in the autumn.
