The organisers of Sidmouth Folk Festival have applied for three separate premises licence for live music and to sell alcohol.

Sidmouth FolkWeek Productions Limited has submitted the applications to East Devon District Council.

They relate to three locations: Ham Recreational Ground, Blackmore Coronation Gardens, and Betsy's Knapp.

This was revealed in public notices posted on the Public Notice Portal on January 19.

Application number one for Ham Recreational Ground is to provide regulated live and recorded music, performances of dance, and the sale of alcohol.

The organisers plan to hold these events from 10am to 11pm with proposed dates from August 1 to 9, 2024, and the premises opening from 9.30am to 11pm.

Premises licence application number two covers Blackmore Coronation Gardens including Peacock Lawn.

Proposed entertainment includes live and recorded music, dance and supply of alcohol, running from 9.30am to 11.45pm, with alcohol available from midday to 11.30pm from August 2 to 9, 2024.

Meanwhile, application number three seeks to hold activities at Betsy's Knapp.

The application requests permissions for regulated live and recorded music and performances of dance from 9.30am to 1.30am, late-night refreshments from 11pm to 4am, and alcohol provision from midday to 2.30am.

All provided from August 2 to 10, 2024, with opening hours from 9.30am to 5am.

Feedback will be accepted by East Devon District Council until February 9.
