Sidmouth in Bloom is looking for gardens of any size to open this spring to help raise money for the town's floral displays.

The Spring Opening dates are Saturday, April 20 and Sunday 21. Owners can select their own opening times on one, or both, of these days.  For more information, email Sidmouth in Bloom chair Lynette Talbot at  info@sidmouthinbloom.org

The summer Open Gardens event will be from Friday, June 28 until Monday, July 1, and anyone who would like to take part can contact Lynette at the same email address.

Sidmouth in Bloom is also looking for more volunteers to join its team.  The group work on the town's floral displays and plantings on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Volunteers can come on one, or both, of these days and there is a social time over coffee and cake.

Some areas such as the Sensory Garden and Ham Car Park borders have raised beds which are suitable for those with less agility to weed and deadhead.  Volunteers can also help with potting-on and seed raising.  Most tools are provided. Novice gardeners and all age groups are welcome. Email info@sidmouthinbloom.org and find out what might suit you.
