There will be a treat for puzzle fans at Ottery St Mary Church on Saturday, April 6.
A Jigsaw Morning is taking place from 10am until 1pm, with puzzles suitable for all ages.
Visitors can take part in a timed challenge to put the pieces together, working individually, or in pairs or groups. For the non-competitive there will be plenty of jigsaws to solve at leisure, over tea and cakes.
The event is free, but donations are invited for the Connect-Enhance-Engage project to rewire the church and improve its lighting and audio visual system.
This is the first of a series of fundraising events this year. There will be a concert by Exeter Cathedral Choir in May, and a medieval music concert in June featuring hurdy-gurdy player Marco Cannavo, playing music from the 13th and 14th centuries.
There will also be cream teas and church tours, with the dates to be announced soon.
