Sidmouth Community Carnival has launched a programme for perhaps the first time in the event's history.
The programme, called Sidmouth Carnival Week, includes details about every event happening in the town in the build-up to the main procession, which will be held on Saturday, September 28 from 7.30pm.
There are also several competitions, including a prize draw and a virtual dog show.
The programme is available to purchase for £1 from Sidmouth Post Office, Gliddon's Cook's Corner, Toffee Nosed Sweet Shop, Sidmouth Tourist Information Centre, Woolbrook News and Wag & Bone in Sidbury.
A Sidmouth Community Carnival spokesperson said: “Exciting news!
“For the first time to our knowledge, we have a carnival programme with details about events on in the week leading up to carnival night.
“Plus there is a £50 prize draw for Myca’s restaurant (see the back page for details) and a colouring competition to win £20 voucher and a virtual dog show, as well as lots of classes to enter.
“Only £1: A great way to support your local carnival.”
