The village of Sidbury is holding its annual Sidbury Fair on Saturday (September 14), with a range of events planned.
The fair started last Friday (September 6), here is the events planned this weekend and into next week.
Saturday September 15.
10.30 am ARCHIVE EXHIBITION on display in St Giles’ Church This year’s main exhibition looks at ‘Going to School in Sidbury’, so if you have any photos of children at Sidbury School in the past please contact Neil on 01395597324 copies can be made and originals promptly returned.
TOURS OF THE BELL TOWER a chance to ‘have a go’ at ringing the bells! STALLS selling local produce and goods in the Churchyard ART DISPLAY by the Sidbury Art Group in St Giles’ Church. MUSIC for everyone at St. Giles Church through the day
REFRESHMENTS served in the Village Hall throughout the day – Tea, Coffee, and Ploughmans

1pm TRADITIONAL AUCTION OF LIVESTOCK and local produce including logs, meat. Something for everyone to bid for! Please Note: All Livestock MUST be pre-entered with Stags Auctioneers 01404 42553 and removed from site by 3pm.

HARVEST THANKSGIVING SERVICE 7.30 pm In St. Giles’ Church everyone is welcome to join in this very special village event (followed by light refreshments)
Sunday September 22.
SIDBURY HILLFORT DISCOVERY WALK 2pm a Free event – part of Sidbury Village Fair Week Explore this commanding Iron Age Hillfort. A site in private ownership, this is a rare chance to visit this special landmark. No dogs on this walk, thank you (unless assistance dogs).
