Nominations are now being accepted for the Sidmouth Citizen of the Year 2024 award.

The annual recognition, which began in 1985, honours the often-overlooked individuals from Sidmouth and the wider Sid Vale communities who have made a substantial impact in the local area.

The award is open to anyone who has contributed significantly to the community in 2024, be it a charity worker, a community group member, or a dedicated individual acting independently.

Last year's recipient, Angela Carney, was celebrated for her unwavering service as the Salvation Army community development manager.
