More than 250 pieces of artwork created by artists from across the Sid Valley and the surrounding area have been hung ready for an annual exhibition in Sidmouth.
Art lovers across East Devon have been invited to see the selection of works, of every sort of medium and style, at the showcase being held at Kennaway House, everyday between 10am and 5pm from today until July 19.
The Sidmouth Society of Artists, which has around 100 members, will open its yearly event to the public at a special launch event, being attended by the town crier, today.
Committee member Terrance Cooks said: “I think people will be very pleased with the quality of the stuff on show. There are some really nice pieces in there and there is such a variation of themes.”
Entry is £1 and under 18s are free.
