GCSE results day brought celebrations for students, with English and maths pass rates reported above the national average and several pupils securing Grade 9s across multiple subjects.
Students at Sidmouth College collected their results on Thursday, August 20, with the school reporting another year of improved overall attainment.
A total of 71% of students achieved Grade 4 or above in both English and maths, while 50% achieved Grade 5 or above in both subjects.
The college said both figures were significantly above the national average.
It also said outcomes for students experiencing disadvantage had improved further and were now significantly above the national average.
The results will see Year 11 students progress to destinations including Sidmouth College Sixth Form, apprenticeships and further education.
Among those highlighted by the college was Katy C, who achieved Grade 9s in Biology, Chemistry, History and Physics, alongside Grade 8s in Maths, Statistics, PE and English Literature.
Una C achieved Grade 9s in History and Religious Education, alongside results in English, Art and Media Studies.
Harry P received a Distinction in Sport Studies, Grade 8s in Biology, Chemistry and Physics, and Grade 7s in Mathematics and History.
Izzie T achieved Grade 9s in Chemistry, Physics and Statistics, as well as Grade 8s in Biology, Geography and Mathematics.
Ollie W received Grade 8s in Mathematics and Physics and Grade 7s in English Language, English Literature, Biology and Statistics, alongside results across his other subjects.
Sidmouth College is part of the Ted Wragg Trust. The college said a recent Ofsted report recognised its positive relationships, ambitious curriculum and strong foundations for learning.
Students have also taken part in activities outside the classroom during the year, including the Ten Tors Challenge, Rotary Exmoor Youth Challenge, trips to Cambodia and Iceland, workplace experiences, Duke of Edinburgh activities, student leadership and creative workshops.
The college also ran programmes covering sport, music and the arts.
