Roads around Sidmouth and Ottery are set to benefit from a £3million fund to fix potholes across Devon.
More than £26,000 has been allocated for patching works on Arcot Road and Riverside in Sidmouth.
A further £53,725 will be spent in the Ottery St Mary rural area patching Goosemoor, Beech Walk, the road from Beech Walk Cross to Gittisham Hill and Seaway Lane, and resurfacing the road past Curscombe Farm.
Councillor Stuart Hughes, Devon County Council’s highways chief, said: “This investment of more than £3million is being spent on roads that need it the most and are local priorities, and we’re making sure that the money goes as far as possible.
“With the biggest road network of any local authority in the country it’s impossible to repair every road in Devon that needs attention but we’re making the best use of the money we’ve been given by government.”
