£5,000 value tipper trailers stolen

AN Ifor Williams TT126 tipper trailer with steel loading skips and side extension attached, valued at £5,000, was taken from the Bowd area between 6pm on Tuesday, April 22, and 7am the following morning.

A 41-year-old driver, from Sidmouth, has been charged with driving with excess alcohol, while disqualified and with no insurance.
The man, in a Peugeot 306, was stopped at 1am on April 27 and taken to Heavitree Road police station where he was detained and later charged.
