£527 raised at Sidmouth fire fighters' car wash

SIDMOUTH S fire fighters teamed up to raise £527 at a charity car wash last Saturday.

SIDMOUTH'S fire fighters teamed up to raise £527 at a charity car wash last Saturday.

Proceeds from the popular event, which saw a steady stream of motorists get their cars sponged and hosed throughout the day, will go to The Fire Fighters Charity.

Sidmouth station commander Stuart Collings issued a big thank you to all the generous drivers who donated cash.

The Fire Fighters Charity raises funds for injured fire fighters during their times of need, assisting more than 13,000 individuals every year by providing pio0neering treatment and support services.
