Selina Turl, known as Lou to family and friends, was thrown a special party at Angela Court to celebrate her special day.
Family members who turned out for the occasion said: ""We aren't surprised that she has enjoyed such a long life, we put this down to her hardworking times out on the land as a farmer's wife and more importantly her desire to reach 100. She is already planning where to hang her telegram from the Queen.
