Accident at Sidbury Fair leaves two ‘severely injured’

Fire crews are at Sidbury Fair after receiving calls that a large water tanker had come loose and crushed two elderly people.

A fire service spokesman has reported that the casualties received severe wounds to their legs, which were tended to by ambulance crews.

An air ambulance has also attended the scene.

The A375 Fore Street is currently closed in both directions between Church Street and Putts Corner.
