THEY have the all-weather gear, now children at Sidmouth Pre-School Playgroup will soon have a covered play area to let them get fresh air play whatever the weather.
The youngsters, aged from three, gave the thumbs up to Sidmouth Sidford County Councillor Stuart Hughes this week who presented a 2,500 cheque to pre-school manager Lynne Rattue.
The money, funds allocated from the sale of Exeter Airport, comes through Mr Hughes' local project fund.
He said: "I take an interest in all the pre-schools, and if I can help I will. It is so important to put money into projects for pre-school children, who are our future."
