The transformation of an Alfington property s coach house into an office, gym and dormitory will boost a family s bid to host foreign exchange students.

The transformation of an Alfington property's coach house into an office, gym and dormitory will boost a family's bid to host foreign exchange students.

Owners of Alfington House in Church Lane want to carry out a string of alterations at the premises that will also see a garden room, changing room, gallery and studio incorporated.

Ottery town councillors have no objection to the proposals, the fate of which will be decided by East Devon District Council.
