Ambulances on scene after man ‘falls off cliff’ in Sidmouth

Multiple ambulance crews are on the scene after a man ‘fell off the cliff’ in Sidmouth this morning (Thursday).

A spokeswoman for the South West Ambulance Service said an air ambulance, a hazardous area rescue team and a double-crewed land ambulance were dispatched after the call.

She said there were reports of ‘someone falling off the cliff’ at 11.14am.

Witnesses said the incident happened around the Jacob’s Ladder area.
