ANIMAL Wardens is in desperate need for more volunteer foster carers to help in the re-housing of abandoned dogs.

The charity, which has seen the number of abandoned dogs increase significantly this year, is working with East Devon District Council in helping find the right home for the right dog.

Volunteer foster carers provide dogs with a temporary loving home until a permanent home can be found for them saving them from months of mental distress at kennels.
