GEORDIE stars Ant and Dec, along with a host of celebrities, caused excitement at the Donkey Sanctuary this week as they filmed for their Saturday Night Takeaway programme.
The ITV stars visited the sanctuary on Tuesday with their celebrity teams, to record part of the Ant V Dec segment of the show.
Ant's team was made up of comedian, Brian Conley, Liz McClarnon of Atomic Kitten, Jonathan Wilkes, TV presenter, and Yvette Fielding, of Most Haunted fame.
Dec's team comprised of celebrity hairdresser, Nicky Clarke OBE, comedian, Bobby Davro and Blue popstar, Anthony Costa.
Each week, with help from their famous team mates, Ant and Dec pit their wits against each other in a host of challenges.
The task this week is for the celebs to try and memorise the names of around 100 donkeys at the sanctuary in Sidmouth.
On tomorrow night's show the teams will be shown five of the donkeys and they will have to name them.
The group who names the most in this challenge will be a step closer to earning the points and winning the coveted title.
Tamara Gilder, the producer of the show, told the Herald on Tuesday, "Filming is going well. Everyone has been really nice down here and we have all enjoyed ourselves."
Saturday Night Takeaway will be aired on ITV1 tomorrow night from 7.45pm.
