A FIXED penalty notice was given to a driver at the weekend after several Sidmouth residents complained of anti social behaviour.
Police were called to Manor Road Car Park on Friday at 11pm after reports that three vehicles were blaring music and disturbing people in the area.
Officers issued a 30 fixed penalty notice to one driver.
Sergeant Andy Turner said: "The Neighbourhood Team have been dealing with offences in this area for some time. They have been working in partnership with East Devon District Council, to try and achieve a long-term solution to this problem."
He also warned offenders that under Section 59 of the Police Reform Act 2002, vehicles can be seized if driven inconsiderately, or in a careless manner, and if use is causing or is likely to cause alarm and distress.
