All aboard for Anything Goes rehearsals

Dancers and singers are wanted for Sidmouth Musical Theatre’s Easter production.

The group will begin preparations for its Easter production as it holds auditions for its production of Anything Goes.

In the run-up to the auditions, the theatre will be holding rehearsals on Monday, December 10, and Wednesday, December 12, at the theatre Arts Centre.

The auditions will then be held on Sunday December 16 at 4.30pm.

New members are welcome to audition for principal parts, to dance, particularly tap, or to sing in the chorus.

The play is set aboard an ocean liner and follows the antics on the ship’s voyage from New York to London. The performance includes renditions of American composer Cole Porter’s repertoire including I Get a Kick Out of You, You’re the Top, It’s De-lovely, Friendship and Anything Goes.
